Wednesday’s Links

Politico: Apparently, according to House Rules, Joe Wilson would have been fine calling Obama a nitwit, just not a liar—even if Obama is a liar and not a nitwit.

Associated Press: ABC apologizes for reporting the one thing Obama has said that everyone agrees with.

St. Louis Dispatch: Police now backing away from charge of hate crime against Black teens who beat up white teen. Someone forgot to tell the St. Louis police about the double standard.

MSNBC: Saddam tortured prisoners, routinely. Bush removed Saddam from power. Idiot throws a shoe at Bush, then whines because he claims the new Iraqi government tortured him in prison. So which does he want—Saddam’s Iraq or Bush’s Iraq. He needs to make up his little pin-head mind. Frankly, after throwing a shoe at our president, he’s lucky to be alive.

Mediaite.com: Color of Change claims their boycott has cost Glenn Beck half his advertising revenue. FoxNews says it hasn’t affected them at all. Beck’s ratings have almost tripled, and the boycott is only some advertisers and only Beck’s show. Fox has plenty of advertisers willing to pay the higher price for better ratings, so more than likely Beck’s revenues are actually up.

London Telegraph: Oprah Winfrey’s ratings continue to plummet after alienating most of her viewers by backing Obama and pushing New Age books.

John Stossel on YouTube: Insurance Makes Healthcare Far More Expensive

Quote of the day…

John Nolte at BigGovernment.com on why the MSM dissed Jay Leno’s new show: “…those five hours Jay’s eating up could’ve otherwise been used to trash Christians and Republicans on ‘Law & Order: God We Love Obama.’”
