Amazing advances in invisibility technology
From Politico...
House Democrats flayed the GOP leadership for covering up Foley’s inappropriate behavior with pages two years ago — and Republicans are eager to return the favor. They were given ammunition yesterday when a pair of top Democrats — Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Chris Van Hollen of Maryland — both admitted they had confronted [Florida Congressman Tim] Mahoney about his personal conduct before the scandal broke.
ABC News, which investigated the affair for weeks, reported early Monday that Mahoney paid Allen $61,000, plus $60,000 in legal fees, after she threatened to sue him for “sexual harassment” and “intimidation.”
The network also reported that Mahoney had secured for the 50-year-old single mother a two-year, $50,000-per-year job at his campaign’s communications firm, Fletcher Rowley Chao Riddle Inc., as part of the settlement.
The scandal is that Mahoney made huge payments to a former staff member who it has been alleged that he was having an affair with. Mahony will now become the next "Invisible Man" unable to be seen the the MSM past the initial token and brief mention. Unlike Republicans like Larry Craig, whose political career was demolished after being caught tapping his foot in a men's room, and the subsequent month long media barrage, repeatedly regurgitating imagined details of the "crime"--Mahony will now be completely ignored by the MSM.
The technology developed that allows Democrats with scandals to become invisible to members of the MSM was perfected decades ago, and seems to only work on Democrat politicians and many of the criminals who aid them, like Tony Rezko and the Mena, Arkansas Drug Cartel. So far no military applications for this technology have been developed.
