Deja Vu all over again

From the Washington Post...

Federal and state lawmakers have launched a new drive to pass the Equal Rights Amendment, reviving a feminist goal that faltered a quarter-century ago when the measure did not gain the approval of three-quarters of the state legislatures.

The ERA, anti-war lunatics dominating the DNC, impeachment threats, Iran taking hostages. Apparently the Liberals have decided to move past bringing back the sixties and try bringing back the seventies.

One thing they seem to have overlooked is that the seventies culminated in an actor running for President and ushering in sweeping changes that showed what miserable failure the Democrats had been all along.

This is the scene with Fred Thompson playing Ronald Reagan and Phyllis Schlafly playing herself. Places, everyone. Action.
