Truth sacrificed at the alter of sin
From Columbia News Service...
Wendell and Cass, two penguins at the New York Aquarium in Coney Island, Brooklyn, live in a soap opera world of seduction and intrigue. Among the 22 male and 10 female African black-footed penguins in the aquarium's exhibit, tales of love, lust and betrayal are the norm. These birds mate for life. But given the disproportionate male-female ratio at the aquarium, some of the females flirt profusely and dump their partners for single males with better nests.
Wendell and Cass, however, take no part in these cunning schemes. They have been completely devoted to each other for the last eight years. In fact, neither one of them has ever been with anyone else, says their keeper, Stephanie Mitchell.
But the partnership of Wendell and Cass adds drama in another way. They're both male. That is to say, they're gay penguins.
While the zookeeper observed the two penguins performing the same behavior other penguins exhibit when mating, the fact is that many animals do so as merely a way of communicating dominance or submission. I've seen female dogs behave like sexually excited male dogs, not because they are confused, but because that's how they communicate the message, "I'm in charge of you." Of course that part of typical animal behavior was omitted.
So who's withholding the information, the zoo or the reporters? Even if the zoo didn't provide it, the information is easily found if searched for. It's obvious that the reporter has an agenda, and has absolutely no interest in telling the entire story, since that would interfere with her agenda. If facts are inconvenient, simple omit them, right?
It's the same reasoning that allows so many to accept Alfred Kinsey's flawed study of human sexuality, when as a base for his study of male homosexuality, he studied exclusively men in prison, not a fact widely made known. And when he studied child sexuality, he used the "evidence" obtained by a known child molester. Also not something the media are very interested in communicating.
Of course Liberals and homosexual activists have already jumped on the case of the two penguins as "scientific proof" that animals can be homosexual, therefore it's okay for human to be homosexual.
Some animals eat their feces. Wonder what they'll do with that?
