The coup in Thailand and world Islamic tyranny
It turns out the General that led the recent coup in Thailand, General Sondhi Boonyaratkalin, who has set himself up as the new dictator, is a Moslem. This puts a whole new face on the problem with radical Islam, as well as whether it's necessary anymore to preface acts such as that with the word "radical" since more and more we are seeing that through their silence or support, Moslems in general do not wish to be distanced from the acts of those we assumed were on the fringe of Islam.
From Financial Times...
Thailand must negotiate with leaders of an ethnic Malay Muslim separatist insurgency if it wants to end bloodshed in its troubled Muslim-majority southern provinces, the country’s army chief [Boonyaratkalin] said on Friday....
The appeal for talks with insurgents came a day after bombs in 22 banks across the province of Yala exploded almost simultaneously, killing a retired official, and injuring 28 people.
The highly co-ordinated attacks on the banks, including two state-owned Islamic banks, demonstrated the militants’ rising technical capacity, and their willingness to strike at the foundations of the economy of the region, an ethnic Malay Muslim-majority enclave in Buddhist-majority Thailand.
A guest columnist at the Sabaka writes...
Boonyaratglin claims that he will take a "new and effective" approach to a crisis that has all of the attributes of a low-intensity civil war. He dismissed claims that the government, almost two years after the uprising began, still has little information about the insurgent groups fighting against them...
At the same time, he promised to open a channel of dialogue. Before American anti-Muslims get offended, the Thai government has successfully negotiated with rebel movements for more than fifty years. In fact, a similar uprising in the same southern provinces in the 1980s was defused when the guerrillas reached an accord with the government.
So who are these "American anti-Muslims" supposed to be? Is he referring to those who, for some unexplainable reason, actually didn't like having almost 3,000 people brutally murdered in one day by Islamic terrorists?
Anyway, the naive rationalizations aside, it sounds like Thailand has managed to allow their festering Islamic terrorist problem to grow because they choose "diplomacy" rather than actually punishing criminals who violate the law. Another lesson we should learn.
Fjordman at the Brussels Journal writes the following...
According to Islamic law, Christians and Jews (not other religious groups) can live in an area dominated by Muslims, but only if they accept their status as second-rate citizens, dhimmis. This implies many restrictions, such as never trying to convert or preach to Muslims, never to have a relationship with a Muslim woman and never to say anything insulting about Islam or Muhammad. If even one single person breaches any of these conditions, the entire dhimmi community will be punished, and Jihad resumes. Notice that while Muslims, following each case of Islamic terrorism, are quick to say that not all Muslims should be punished for the actions of a few, this is precisely what sharia prescribes for non-Muslims.
What’s worse is that in practice, as in this case from Indonesia, attacks on non-Muslims can be triggered by unconfirmed rumors, personal grudges by Muslims or outright lies. In reality, this means that all non-Muslims will live with a constant, internalized fear of saying or doing anything that could insult Muslims, which would immediately set off physical attacks against them and their children. This state of constant fear is called dhimmitude. Many Middle Eastern, Pakistani and Indonesian Christians know that as a matter of survival, they must say one thing in public and another in private. They are held hostage in their own countries.
(Oh, and go read the entire piece, you'll be glad you did)
It's obvious that Moslems can't be treated as we would treat others. Don Feder also and shows one of our biggest weaknesses in fighting them...
During the Spanish Civil War, as the climactic battle for Madrid approached, Nationalist leader Francisco Franco told a reporter: "I have four columns marching on Madrid and a fifth within the city ready to rise at my call."
Franco's comment gave rise to the World War II-era expression "fifth columnist" - a subversive, the enemy within who works covertly to sabotage a nation or cause. That pretty much sums up the part liberals play in the war on terrorism - except many of them are open in their admiration for Muslim murderers.
If anything, liberals are even more dangerous than Islamacists. The terrorist attacks with bombs and bullets. The liberal saps our will to resist. He rationalizes evil. In the name of civil liberties, he constantly seeks to undermine national security and make it impossible to safeguard our people from another 9/11.
At NewsByUs, Mary Mostert warns...
The Pope invited the Muslims, other Christians, Jews and scientists to TALK to each other. Islam responded to his invitation by killing Christians, burning churches and the Pope in effigy, which doesn’t appear to be a good way to start a dialogue. Now, I ask you, if the Qur’an teaches Muslims that there should be no compulsion in religion, why are they killing nuns, burning down Christian churches and burning the Pope in effigy? Well at a later date Mohammad wrote in sura 9: 29-30 of the Qur’an:
“9.29”: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
“9.30”: And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away! “
Perhaps Europe needs to think aboutr sura 9 before it hands 20% of Serbia, the province of Kosovo, over to Albanian Muslims, who already have destroyed over 150 Serbian Christian Churches and who want to either subject or eliminate the few remaining Serbs.
Will we finally take note of this latest of a long, long line of lesson regarding coddling Moslem violence? I hope so, but I doubt it. One of the most valuable tools Moslems have against those they wish to conquer, is the fact that few will acknowledge the sociopathic nature of Islam, until it's too late.

Fundamentalism, not Islam, is the problem.
Spoken like a true, anti-Christian bigot. Exactly how many people have Fundamentalist Christians blown up lately lately? How many people have Fundamentalist (Hassidic) Jews beheaded in the past few years?
Get your head out of the sands of hatred and look at reality.
