AFA Calls WAFF's bluff
From AFA.net:
The American Family Association (AFA) is alerting parents about the “We Are Family” video scheduled for delivery to 61,000 elementary schools across the nation on March 11. Due to pro-homosexual content AFA found on the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) Web site, AFA recommends parents contact their children’s schools to learn exactly how the school plans on using the curriculum.
“A good school system will always work with parents, not against them,” said Donald Wildmon, chairman of AFA. “We encourage parents to find out what, if anything, will be going on in their schools in connection with the ‘We Are Family’ video.”
When AFA alerted supporters about the video in the January AFA Journal, Wildmon said WAFF threatened to sue AFA for exposing the pro-homosexual content on WAFF’s Web site.
“WAFF attorneys threatened to sue us unless we recanted our statements, removed the article from our Web site, and issued an apology to WAFF,” Wildmon said. “We refused. Thus far, WAFF has not sued AFA, primarily because they had no cause.”
The thing about threatening a lawsuit -- if you don't follow through, you're as much as admitting the other person was right. Just ask Michael Bates
