North Korea is going public for the first time with the admission it has nuclear weapons, and says it won't return to the six-nation talks aimed to have the country abandon its atomic plans.
"We had already taken the resolute action of pulling out of the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) and have manufactured nukes to cope with the Bush administration's evermore undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the DPRK (North Korea)," according to a statement by the foreign ministry.
The fruits of Clinton's policy of appeasement.
