Staples tries playing both sides
According to John Moore of "Useful Fools", quoting a Washington Post article, Staples has yanked its advertising from Sinclair News programs. The Washington Post quotes Staples spokesman Owen Davis. On it's corporate website, however, Staples denies any such action claiming the "rumors" are false, and were circulated by "an organization with no affiliation to Staples". Hmm, a guy who works for them, gets his email at their web site and has his name on most of their media releases is an "organization with no affiliation to Staples", how does that work?
Anyway John Moore is urging a boycott. I think a deluge of emails and.or phone calls would work better, since that's what Staples blindly reacted to initially.
